I don’t think I’ve watched this film since it won best picture, so I pulled it out again. The Departed is a damn good movie. And Leonardo DiCaprio gives a stellar performance.

I would have loved to see Mr. Scorsese win his directing Oscar before The Departed, but I still cheered like it was the Super Bowl when Coppola, Lucas & Spielberg read his name.
